What this website collects, and what it does not.

This notice covers the RecoverAble Control website — the pages you are reading now. It does not cover the Control product itself or any other RecoverAble system; those are separate, and nothing you send through this website is passed into them without being told.

The short version

• There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party analytics on this site.
• Nothing beyond what makes the site work happens until you choose. Refusing is one click, in the same place, with the same weight as accepting.
• We do not sell, rent or share your details with data brokers, advertisers or anyone else for their own purposes.
• We never make an automated decision about you, and we do not profile you.

Who is responsible

RecoverAble is the controller for the information described here. To ask a question about it, to see what we hold, or to have it deleted, use the enquiry form and say what you need — a request about your own data is treated as such, not as a sales enquiry.

What we collect

1. What you deliberately send us

When you use a form on this site we record what you typed and which form it was:

• Your name, and your first name only in the case of the demo request.
• Your business or trading name.
• Your email address, and your phone number where you provide one.
• Anything you write in a message or description field.
• Which plan you were looking at, and the page you submitted the form from.
• Whether you gave permission to be contacted about Control, and when.

2. Measurement, only if you allow it

If you allow measurement, we count activity on our own pages so we can see which routes lead to an enquiry. This is first-party only — it never leaves this site's own database:

• A random reference for your visit. It is not linked to your identity, and it is deleted when you close the tab.
• Which of our pages were viewed, and which actions were used.
• Campaign details already present in the link you arrived on, and the website that referred you.
• Whether your screen is phone, tablet or desktop sized. Not your device, not your location.

If you refuse measurement, none of this is created or stored. Attribution simply becomes thinner and the site behaves identically.

3. Security and consent evidence, always

When you submit a form or make a consent choice we store a one-way hash of your IP address. A hash cannot be turned back into an address; it exists so we can stop automated abuse of the forms and so we can evidence that a consent choice was made and honoured. We also store the browser identification string alongside a consent choice for the same reason.

Why we are allowed to hold it

• Your enquiry: we hold it to reply to you and to take the steps you asked for. Where you are asking about buying Control, that is preparation for a contract; otherwise it is our legitimate interest in answering the person who contacted us.
• Measurement: your consent, freely given and withdrawable at any time.
• Marketing contact: your consent, recorded separately from the enquiry itself, so withdrawing it does not delete your enquiry and answering your enquiry does not require it.
• Abuse prevention and consent records: our legitimate interest in keeping the site usable, and our obligation to be able to show that consent was properly obtained.

Who else sees it

The website's database and hosting are operated by our infrastructure providers on our instructions, under contract, solely to run this site. Nobody else receives it. There is no advertising network, no data enrichment service and no lead marketplace involved at any point.

We will only ever pass an enquiry into another RecoverAble system in order to deliver what you asked for, and this notice will say so before that happens.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries: for as long as we are dealing with yours, and then for as long as we may reasonably need to evidence what was agreed. When it is no longer needed it is deleted.
• Measurement records: kept only in aggregate use; the per-visit reference is discarded when you close the tab.
• Consent records: kept while we rely on the choice, and afterwards only for as long as we might need to show it was honoured.

If you ask us to delete your details we will do so, keeping only the minimum record needed to show that you asked and that we complied.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete it;
• stop or restrict what we do with it;
• hand it over in a portable form;
• stop contacting you, at any time and without giving a reason.

To withdraw measurement or marketing permission, use Your data choices — it takes effect immediately and the stored references are cleared as you do it.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk. We would rather you raised it with us first so we can put it right.

Changes to this notice

This notice is versioned. If what we do with data changes, the version changes with it and every visitor is asked to make their choice again rather than having a previous choice quietly carried over. See the cookie and storage policy for exactly what is stored in your browser.
